Speaking of this tracking system for vehicle, there are three main types of systems you would learn which are cellular, wireless passive, and satellite real time. The first type, cellular, is the system that uses cellular transmission to get the information of fleet vehicles’ current location. This type is a monthly cost service but the cheapest among those three types and it offers the access of tracking company’s software through the internet. 

The second one is wireless passive. Since it is not monthly charged service, this type is more expensive than the cellular. The vehicle tracking system includes hardware that must be installed in a specified vehicle and a wireless reader at the entrance to the fleet yard. The installation charges real high price but it is worth.

The last but not least is the satellite real time. The obvious benefit from this type is the real time information given. Since this vehicle tracking system performs like GPS device, the fleet manager will be able to know the current and exact information about location and time and also the drivers’ activity. (fallen)
