MacBook Air: The 11-Inch and 13-Inch Models

The latest MacBook Air had been announced in October and this machine gives a convenient experience for the users. It is not only the specifications which are valuable, but also the responsive machine it presents. Take a brief look to the physical profile, MacBook Air brings changes in design compared to the previous laptops. This newest MacBook is really thin and light weighed.
Move to other parts, you can examine that the lid and base are designed differently from the older models since they are not as rounded around the edges. Being thinner than the old models, MacBook Air has 0.68-inch thickness at the hinge and tapering down to 0.11-inch at the opening.
Furthermore, MacBook Air is equipped with 13.3-inch display with 1440 x 900 pixels, this means that this machine has better resolution that the predecessor. In fact, MacBook Air also comes in smaller version which is the 11-inch model. This 11-inch machine has an 11.6-inch screen at 1266 x 768 resolutions. The 13.3-inch MacBook has USB port and SD card reader, whereas the 11-inch doesn’t include SD card slot.
Compared to other netbooks you found on the market, MacBook Air is designed with full-size keyboards that give more convenient typing experience. Another remarkable specification included into 13-inch MacBook Air model is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with either 1.86 or 2.13 GHz. Meanwhile, the 11-inch model is packed with the same chip that runs either at 1.4 or 1.6 GHz.
Both 13-inch and 11-inch model come with an Nvidia GeForce 320 processor couples 256 MB of memory. The memory taken onboard is at either 2 or 4GB, unfortunately it is impossible for you to upgrade the memory in the future, it means the pack inside the model you order is what you get.
Similarly, the hard disk included in both MacBook Air is not upgradable, thus you will receive the 11-inch model with 128 GB of memory storage and the 13-inch model with 128 or 256 GB. It is also little bit disappointing that 11-inch MacBook Air doesn’t support flash storage, whereas the 13-inch model has the flash already attached to the motherboard.
Additionally, other useful features come with these models are Lightroom you can make use with the purpose like when you are using Adobe Photoshop or InDesign. iMovie also provides you the easy way to edit high-definition videos. Also, restarting and logging into MacBook Air only need a very short time.
