HIGH ON PERFORMANCE

It might be helpful to your economy if you know not just about your car but also about your car’s vital parts. The most important component of your vehicle is the tires as they are the only part of your car which comes in contact with the road. Of course your car is important but the ones that drive your car is more important. To celebrate  this concern for the tires ,  the Rubber Manufacturers Association and its members are organizing a National Michelin Tire Safety Week in order to make the consumers across the Nation about Tire maintaining practices. This year they are conducting their eight annual event .

Keeping in mind their responsibility towards improving the sustainable mobility,  Michelin manufactures  and sells tires of various categories including  airplanes, automobiles, bicycles, earthmovers, farm equipments, heavy duty trucks, motorcycles and the space shuttle. They also extend their activities towards publishing travel guides which includes details about Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

It has also prioritized a few simple rules which are as follows :

• Be sure to properly check all four tires once a month and before a long trip – you can't tell if a tire is under inflated just by looking at it. If it actually looks under inflated, it is severely under inflated.
• Do not inflate tires to the maximum pressure molded onto the tire's sidewall.  The optimum tire pressure required for your car can be found on a sticker in the door jamb, on the inside of the glove compartment door or in the owner's manual.
• Check the pressure when the tires are cold – first thing in the morning is best.
• Many gas stations have free tire pressure gauges and air-filling facilities or, purchase your own tire gauge (a digital pressure gauge is recommended).

To add to this information, the research and development programs of Michelin provided an expertise in the area of fuel-efficiency without sacrificing other performance. Michelin has combined its focus and efforts to provide high performance tires for the most high performance cars on the road !
