It is also confirmed that Google software for set-top boxes that provide consumers an option to cable or satellite packages are available already. Moreover, according to its concept, the revenue will be increased from web-based ads. This method is surely advantageous knowing that internet covers much wider audience that may come from eny area across the world. Thus, if Google successes realizing this concept, the entire face of television might be transformed into a new form. Furthermore, it also may turn every set equipped with the software to become an internet terminal.

Still according to the concept, the first product Google TV plans to use is the set-top box that runs a version of Android which is called Dragonpoint. The set-top box will as well be using Intel processor and Logitech remote control. It will be more exciting when the device is connected to TV or Blu-ray DVD players. In the future, it is possible that you will be able to use the device as computer which is able to perform connection with the internet or run internet application such as internet searches, YouTube and, other more.

Additionally, another exciting rumor aroused is that Google and the Dish network are joining a project to test a system that allows viewers to search for content on the internet through the Dish network’s programs. The further news from Google is expected to announce on its annual Google I/O conference in San Francisco in the middle of this month.
