I've also been using prepaid phones for years now instead of contracts. I myself recently discovered NET10 and I must say they are really great. Much better coverage than my previous carrier (Virgin) and the rates are really low. Definitely my current fav where it comes to cell service!

I have found that my Net10 cell phone at 10c per minute and 5c per text works out much cheaper in a month than a contract because there are no hidden expense like roaming fees, long distance charges or overages. That's why so many people are changing to prepaid!
