Two Mysterious Droid Phone from Motorola to Launch on June

Again, the good news come to earth is that Verizon, Motorola, and Adobe are going to introduce the latest generation of Android-based phone next June 23, 2010. This phone belongs to Droid mobile device and another surprising thing here is the launch will be extremely close to the launch of Apple’s iPhone 4 that will be launched the day after.

Along with this new Droid mobile device, there are some significant features that may attract your attention like Flash Player 10.1. this Flash Player is said to be compatible with mobile devices that run Android 2.2 , Symbian S60 and Palm WebOS.

Apart from this unrevealed new Droid phone, you may hear the rumors say about the appearance of Droid. There are two opinions about this phone, for example, the Engadget argues that this upcoming Droid will be equal with iPhone 4. On the other side, DroidLife displayed the picture of mysterious Droid and opinioned that this mobile device gets minor tweaks.

According to Engadget, through some short videos uploaded into the site, the form of Droid X is revealed. The prediction made about the so called Droid X is that the handset has 1 4.4 inch display with 854 X 480 resolutions. The device also integrates 8 megapixel camera equipped with flash. Moreover, this camera is capable of recording the 720p high definition video.

Still through the video, this Droid X mobile device seems responsive. Engadget claims the phone is empowered by 1 GHz processor and it allows you to connect it with compatible external devices through HDMI out port. Other great specifications offered include the capacitive touch screen and the 4 buttons placed along the bottom side of the mobile phone. To store all files you need, there is 8GB internal memory that provides more than enough space.

Take a closer look to its operating system, the Android system it takes onboard is the 2.1 version or Eclair instead of the latest Android 2.2 version called Froyo. It is reported that the reason of choosing the Eclair version is because Motorola wants to run the newer version of Motoblur on this mysterious Droid phone.

On the other hand, the second mysterious Droid phone which is called Droid 2 also runs Android 2.1 operating system and it will be equipped with new keyboard. It is also said that this Droid 2 will probably stay the same with the current version and the changes made will only cover minor parts like processor that might perform faster. It means, the Droid 1 may be more superior to this Droid 2. Well, let’s see.
