Apple to Solve the Error of Signal Bars in iPhone 4

The latest update of iPhone 4 update is reported will not fix the antenna of the device. Even though the company stated that it will provide the update to maintain the handset properly, it seems that the upcoming update for iPhone 4 is unable to do because of the part of the antenna that seems so sensitive. But still this information remains unclear.

According to tech blog Gizmodo, when company was called to give confirmation dealing with the iPhone 4’s antenna that will not be fixed, the responses given from the company were still explicit. Gizmodo added, AppleCare technicians said that buyers who have problems with the antenna were suggested to hold the device in different way.

In fact, other news reported that the device shows pretty bad receptions and Apple’s corporate PR department delivered a note to public that stated iPhone is not suffer from bad reception. The Apple’s PR department argued the device contains of a software bug that tricks iPhone buyers to believe that the device’s antenna is able to receive stronger signal.

It means the issues gave indication that many iPhone users mistakably received the iPhone series that is really needed to be carefully fixed. However, through a statement, Apple claimed that there were a failure happened in the bars that show the signal strength. Through an investigation, the formula used to calculate the number of displayed bars was wrong.

Accordingly, the formula should be able to give the exact bars. The error shown the bars display 2 extra bars than it should be. For instance, the device signal strength bar display 4 bars whereas it should be display 2 bars only.

Therefore, it would be unavoidable fact that iPhone users are holding devices with possibility to have significant drop in reception. Moreover, the company also added, the mistaken bars displayed means the high bars were not showing the real signal strength that it should be. This problem is claimed to be already occurring since the original iPhone devices were rolled out to market.

To respond this unwanted situation, Apple is going to maintain it by adding a patch of AT&T-recommended formula as a medium to check the signal strength. The company claimed, the real strength will never happen to change but iPhone bars of signal strength will be giving more exact report.

However, there are a number of reports indicated that the signal bar problem of iPhone 4 may keep continuing even after the patch is applied. Therefore, Apple is expected to be more conscious about this issue and to get another way out to fix the problem.
