Skype just released a new service, Video Messaging to improve their service for public. This new service enables the users to send a recorder video to their contact list.
As reported by Telegraph, this video messaging is as long as 3 minutes. This video message can be played by the receiver directly.
For this time, this application is only available for iOS peripheral, Android and Mac, for the users who pay the upgrade for Skype premium. For Windows and Windows phone’s clients, they can try this service fully on next April. For this time, they do not have “send” feature that enable them to send the video messaging. However, they are still able to receive such a message from the other users.
To change the to the rear camera, there is an option to change. Especially for Mac, the users have an option to download the message they have received.
A number of blogs and technology sites said that this technology breakthrough cannot be juxtaposed with Vine, video share feature that was just released by Twitter. This feature is only as long as 6 seconds. Skype said that this new service is still in Beta version. So, just be ready to enjoy the more sophisticated one.
